A few weeks ago my 9 year old daughter asked me to carry her to bed like I use to when she was younger. As I carried her through the house she said that everything looked different from my shoulders. After I put her to bed I began to think about perspective and how much different the world looks even with the smallest change.

By gaining a new perspective, we can experience things in a whole new way. After thinking on this for the next 30 minutes I couldn’t help but wonder what I may have overlooked by settling for one perspective and not allowing myself to see things differently.

I want to encourage you today to try and gain a new perspective. Make it the first priority when you face your problems. Take the time to see that situation through the other persons eyes. Lets commit to learn more about each other so that we can love the way Jesus loves us.
